This is Public Health
This Is Public Health (TIPH) is an initiative launched by the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) in 2008. Originally designed as a marketing campaign, TIPH has grown into a comprehensive brand bringing awareness to education and career paths in public health. At the heart of TIPH’s mission is the commitment to showcasing the breadth and impact of public health. By engaging with students, professionals, and communities, TIPH fosters a deeper understanding of how public health touches every aspect of our lives, from ensuring clean air and water to promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing diseases.
Through a dynamic range of activities—including a student ambassador program, graduate fairs, strategic partnerships, and interprofessional events—TIPH seeks to grow the number of future public health professionals.

Throughout the month of February, we celebrate I ❤️ Public Health Month to highlight the important and varied role public health plays in the global community. This is why ASPPH firmly supports promoting voter participation, analyzing voting’s impact on health equity, and examining the relationship between voting rights and health outcomes. ASPPH also supports efforts to enhance voter representation, particularly among marginalized groups.
